What is changing
Linkly is moving the IP Gateway service to a new set of IP addresses as part of planned infrastructure work from the 14th of September till the 9th of October 2026 outside of business hours.
The change will be made in two phases outlined below.
Does this affect you?
Most merchants will not need to take action. You will only need to act if your network firewall restricts outbound (egress) traffic to approved addresses.
You will need to whitelist the new Linkly subnets before the cutover starts on the 14th of September. Your IT or POS provider can assist with this. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please contact your IT team or the appropriate person within your organisation.
The required subnets to allow:
| Environment | Public Subnet |
| Non-Production | 103.83.208.0/24 |
| Production | 160.25.16.0/24 |
| Production | 160.25.17.0/24 |
What you need to do now
Review the table below and ensure your network allows outbound connections to the new IP addresses and DNS hostnames. Following this change all EFT Server configurations must use the DNS hostnames only.
Caution:
Direct IP configuration will no longer be supported after the migration. The IP addresses listed below are provided for firewall whitelisting purposes only. Please also ensure that outbound (egress) traffic is not being blocked to these addresses.
Your network must be configured to allow DNS resolution to ensure connectivity to the Public DNS addresses.

Phase 1: Connectivity probe
Overnight, Linkly will run a quick automated check to confirm your server can reach our new addresses.
No transactions will be affected, no downtime will occur, and no action is required from you.
See 'What is the connectivity probe?' below for exact dates.
Phase 2: Cutover Range - 14th September to 9th October 2026
Linkly will migrate your EFT Server configuration to the new IP Gateway addresses. Merchants who cannot connect will be contacted before this occurs.
What is the connectivity probe?
The connectivity probe is a pre-test process that Linkly will run before the actual cutover.
It is not the change itself.
During a maintenance window, Linkly will temporarily update the primary address in your EFT Server configuration to the new IP Gateway address and verify whether a connection can be established. Your secondary address will remain untouched throughout.
Non-Production
| Day | Date | Time |
| Wednesday | 05/08/2026 | 18:00 AEST |
| Thursday | 06/08/2026 | 18:00 AEST |
Production
| Day | Date | Time |
| Tuesday | 11/08/2026 | 02:00 AEST |
| Thursday | 13/08/2026 | 02:00 AEST |
| Tuesday | 25/08/2026 | 02:00 AEST |
| Thursday | 27/08/2026 | 02:00 AEST |
Zero impact to transactions
If the connection to the new address fails, your EFT Server will automatically fall back to the secondary address. There will be no disruption to your payment processing during the probe window.
Once the probe is complete, Linkly will restore your primary address configuration.
What happens after the probe?
If Linkly confirms that your EFT Server can reach the new addresses, no further action is required from you before the cutover.
If Linkly cannot confirm connectivity, we will work with your Acquirer to contact you to troubleshoot before the actual cutover takes place.
