If you've encountered a transaction issue or discrepancy, please follow the steps below to collect relevant logs and review the transaction before contacting Linkly Support.
1: Review the transaction from your POS
- Open your POS software and locate the transaction in question.
- Record the following details:
- Date and time of the transaction.
- Transaction amount.
- Transaction reference number (if applicable).
- Transaction result (e.g. Approved, Declined, Cancelled).
2: Collect Linkly log files
To assist Linkly Support, gather the Linkly Client or Eft-Server logs by opening the Windows File Explorer and find the directory C:\PC_EFT.
Inside this directory, please collect the necessary log files below:
EFTPOS.LOG-
EFTPOS000.LOG(if present) - If the transaction occurred from a previous date, check in
C:\PC_EFT\Tracelabelled the date they were zipped.
3: Submit a support ticket
- Prepare your Linkly logs or the files you wish to share and include the transaction details, such as (date, time, amount, card type) and any further details into the Linkly Support request ticket form (found here).
